This day could not have been more sweet! Brody and Katy are adorable together, and their special day was filled with complete adoration. I did their engagement photos a while back, and since then, I’ve been following Katy’s blog about her transition from girl to bride. It’s amazing and hilarious! Full of life and inspiration. From the engagement session to the wedding day, I’ve seen that transition blossom between the two of them, and their enthusiasm during the ceremony proved to me just how strong their relationship really is. They are meant for each other! They had a beautiful day at the Oklahoma Christian University campus, and I am so happy for them. Best of luck to you, Brody and Katy… You are a beautiful couple!
Some of my favorites from Geno and Westin’s post-wedding shoot… These two are just lovely!
My heart seriously overflows with joy when I think about Geno and Westin. I’ve known Westin for several years through our home church, and I’ve always admired her zest for life! Therefore, when she contacted me saying she was engaged and needing a photographer, I was all smiles! I’ve always known that she would end up with an amazing guy, and she certainly exceeded my expectations with Geno. The way he looks at her is the way that all women deserve to be looked at… with complete and utter awe and unconditional affection. Geno and Westin are one of the most genuine couples I have ever encountered, and never has it been more obvious that these two are absolutely head over heels in LOOOVE with each other. I rarely get emotional at weddings, and I was wiping tears away from my face like a silly goose during the ceremony! There was so much love in the room, and although the rain kept us inside, it was such a bright and warm atmosphere. The details were amazing, and Westin did most all of the decorations herself, including making her own bouquet! Geno incorporated his amazing clock collection in the decor, and the simplicity of the wildflowers and various antique jars set such a lovely tone. I’m so excited for these two, and I can’t wait to post their post-wedding session, but for now, enjoy their special Sunday afternoon wedding. A most perfect Sunday kind of love.
Words cannot describe my excitement about these two… Chris and Kiara are one of those couples that really leave an impression on you from the first time you meet them! Both of them came to the initial client meeting with such enthusiasm, and I left feeling giddy… The three of us were becoming so frustrated with Oklahoma weather that caused us to reschedule THREE times (I’m learning not to rely on good weather here for the first 5 months of the year…), but I’m so glad we shot the day we did. It was PERFECT! Chris is local, while Kiara is originally from California. Therefore, they wanted to combine both of their roots in the session. I adored the shots we got out at one of my favorite old houses, and although it’s definitely not the beaches of the west coast, we ended the evening with some gorgeous sunset shots at Lake Hefner. I am ecstatic about their wedding! Enjoy some of this lovin’… I know I did!
Jeremiah and Laura are a hoot! As we all know, Oklahoma weather has a mind of its own. They were such troopers at this session, because the clouds decided to open up and downpour on us TWICE! The second downpour resulted in us to sprinting to the cars for cover, wet hair, and my tanktop ripping in the attempt to cover my camera… needless to say, it was an adventure! Instead of calling it quits, these two decided to tough it out, and finish the session with a great attitude. They are adorable, and so full of life and laughter! I can’t WAIT for their wedding this weekend… it’s going to be amazing!
Here are a few shots from the beautiful LeeAnn’s bridal session… The wedding was last night, and it was lovely! Can’t wait to post photos from it, but for now, enjoy LeeAnn!
This couple makes me smile so much! For going into the engagement session with the initial client meeting being our first and only acquaintance, I left the session feeling refreshed by Reagan and Tiffany. They came into the session with the perfect attitude; calm and collected, yet giddy with affection for each other, and a willingness to explore and try whatever I suggested. Their personalities mesh so well together, and it’s always awesome to have clients with similar tastes in music and… well, pretty much everything! Reagan and Tiffany are total naturals, both with each other and in front of the camera. I can’t wait to continue working with them! Enjoy a little bit of lovin’ from Reagan and Tiffany…
Brian and Emily are wonderful. One of those couples who are so sweet to each other! With every look they gave each other, I saw nothing but sincere adoration. They make each other laugh, and with every still moment, I could see that sense of security and comfort that is only found in the presence of being with that one person you absolutely trust and love so deeply. I loved them, and I can’t wait for their wedding in January!
