Taylor and Kayla are a ball of fun! I met them at the OU Wesley Foundation, and ever since, I’ve been in total awe of their relationship. Not only do they care so deeply about each other, but they live every day on fire for God. It’s contagious! While Kayla is in nursing school, Taylor is pursuing the ministry… both jobs require a heart for people, and these two certainly embody the talent and compassion for the people they serve… Plus, they are super fun! I anxiously awaited their wedding day, and it was such a perfect representation of them. Bright, colorful, sweet, and full of fun! The ceremony was absolutely perfect, and I felt so blessed to be a part of such a beautiful day… To say it simply, Taylor and Kayla are lovely people. I’m so excited for their future together! Congrats to the both of you!
Eric is fantastic! He just so happens to be my 3rd cousin, and I was so excited when he wanted me to take his senior photos. I can still remember the days when he, his brother, my sister, and I would play countless games of Grabbin’ Grasshoppers and eat dinosaur shaped Jell-O jigglers… it was the best! He’s grown up to be an amazing young man, and I can’t wait to see what he does with all of his wonderful talents! We had a great time shooting in Bartlesville, and while hurricane-like winds and rain had us worried at first, it ended up being a perfect evening… Best of luck, Eric!
Kendell is definitely one of the most talented people I have ever met! A singer, a dancer, hilarious, humble, genuine, and just an overall lovely person… Kendell is my brother-in-law’s sister, and I always overflow with joy every time I hear how close this family is. They all have such amazing hearts for God and for people, and Kendell has truly grown into her own person in such a beautiful way! I loved her session, and I was so blessed to be able to capture her talent and beauty. This girl is going to DOMINATE! Best of luck with senior year, Kenni!
Rick and Julie are one of those super down to earth couples who have a quiet, yet sweet as pie kind of love. There is such a stillness about them that melts your heart! They had a lovely wedding at the Harmony Chapel in Aubrey, TX, and though it rained most of the day leading up to it, the sun came out just in time for the ceremony. It was lovely! Here are a few favorites!
You might remember Daniel and Elise from the old blog as the couple with the Scrabble board! To sum it up, these two LOVE to have fun with such a playful attitude about life… it’s contagious! These two are so sweet to each other, and I knew going into their wedding that they were going to throw a heck of a party, and they certainly did! The reception was at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown OKC, and I’ve never seen so much dancing at a wedding before! They even pulled me on the dance floor to bust a move with them! Such amazing people with incredible hearts and passions… I wish them the best of luck as they make the big move down to Florida to start their new lives together… Cheers to Daniel and Elise!
Just a few from sweet Makena’s 6 month session! She is ADORABLE!
Meet my sweet cousin Emily from Minnesota. In my last post, I talked about how much I adore the time I get to spend with my cousins, and while we were in Colorado, I was so honored to take Emily’s senior photos! She is so photogenic! We had so much fun taking these in Pueblo, CO, because neither of us knew the area… Luckily, we were both willing to explore and enjoy extra time together! Emily is super talented… I wish I was half as intelligent as her! I was so excited to hear her ambitions for college and life in general, and I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her… Best of luck beautiful cousin… Your future is so bright!
One thing you should know about me is how much I adore my family. I had such an amazing time with my family in Colorado this past month… We ventured west for a family wedding reception in Pueblo, CO, where the Boevers side gathered for what is always a great time! Some of my favorite memories in life are when all of the Boevers cousins are together… for being so spread out, we are always able to pick up where we left off, and it’s so exciting to see how we are all continuously growing and changing! At the reception, we danced until my feet were blistered, and my knees were screaming at me… it. was. the. BEST!
Another thing you should know about me is how much I adore the outdoors. There is something so calming, refreshing, and exhilarating about nature that excites my every cell every time I immerse myself in it. My faith in God is totally overwhelmed by the site of such creation, and while I know I can’t fully capture the entire experience of these scenes in my camera, I decided to post some of my favorites… even though there’s a lot! We explored the most beautiful places in western Colorado, and got to fish the Roaring Fork, Frying Pan, Eagle, and Colorado Rivers. Needless to say, I was right in my element! I think it’s so important for everyone to get away for a little while in life… to take the time to recharge and be humbled. For me, this adventure was just what I needed and more. Enjoy some shots from our trip… 🙂
